Balancing The Books, 2006

Jamal arrives from Pakistan with the hope of changing his life.  His hen-pecked uncle promised his father that he would pay for Jamal’s education but he can no longer do that.  Instead Jamal’s uncle has found him a job at the local cafe which Jamal thinks is as an accountant.  Jamal begins his new job “frying food for the rest of his life” or so we think.
